I have been learning Spanish with Ms. D since January, and I must say that before taking Spanish through Preply, I noticed I wasn’t really growing or fully understanding the language. In just 4 months, I now have a much clearer understanding of conjunctions, verbs, and how to use them correctly. Im currently enrolled in Spanish Atlanta, learning Spanish was something I wanted to do for quite along time, I tried numerous learning methods but I just couldn’t grasp, I thought because I was out off school so long that me being taught was just impossible. But I decided to give it another shot as I was I was searching I stumbled across Spanish In Atlanta! I enrolled and it has been a life changing experience!! Ms. D is the greatest!!!!!! She takes her time to help you understand by not only speaking but learning to read and write!!!! Super fun instructor but doesn’t play games or babysit she makes learning extremely fun as well as challenging, If your looking to learn Spanish. Spanish in Atlanta is where you need to be. I am wrapping up Spanish 1 and signed up today for Spanish 2 today. Delilah is the best language instructor I have ever had. I have taken many kinds of classes and never had anyone explain things so clearly and simply and with such patience and humor. I had both group and private lessons. I am very much convinced with Ms.D’s method, and it works for me. She has a very structured curriculum of her own that helps one to learn the language from scratch, yet never forgetting the basics. I would highly recommend her classes to other adults like me who are stuck in highschool Spanish wishing to go further than Hola señor 👍

The last Spanish class I took was in college, about 15 years ago. I've definitely forgotten a lot. I decided to sign up for Spanish level I with Spanish in Atlanta as my new years resolution. I already feel more confident and hopeful with my Spanish progression. Delilah has been a great profesora. She teaches in a way to help us retain the information. I appreciate that we start off with proper pronunciations. I realized I was saying a lot of words wrong back in the day ha! Class sizes are small so you get more attention and opportunity to practice with others which is great. I plan to continue lessons with Spanish in Atlanta 🙂

La profesora Ortiz is an exceptional Spanish teacher whose approach is focused on true retention and real-world use, not memorization. Her method has helped me become genuinely confident speaking Spanish—especially in the U.S., where practicing can feel more intimidating than when you’re abroad. Her explanations are clear and thoughtful, and every exercise, workbook assignment, video, and homework piece builds intentionally on the last. I honestly wish she taught other languages because she’s the best foreign language teacher I’ve had. The value far exceeds the cost, and I’m very grateful I found her. She may wish I’d written this review in Spanish 😅, but if you’re serious about learning Spanish and actually using it in daily life, la profesora Ortiz is an excellent choice.

I adore my classes with Señora Delilah. They have been so helpful in helping me utilize Spanish. I’ve been somewhat practicing Spanish for a few years now and have Spanish speaking friends, but I’ve never felt comfortable speaking and using it. Delilah has been instrumental with my listening and speaking, and gives homework so I can continue practicing and honing my skills (I probably should do those more lol). My Dominican friend is commenting on my progress, and I’ll continue to use her until I get more fluent. I recommend her to all my friends and anyone else who is trying to learn Spanish!

Yes! Sign up for Spanish In Atlanta. The lessons are structured in a way that is easy to learn and most importantly, retain the information. We are learning all facets; speaking, hearing, reading and writing. Small group class sizes are a huge plus. Señora D is fantastic! Her energy is what really makes these classes so enjoyable. My wife and I are in the 50+ crowd. Needless to say, it's been a while since our school days. We began our journey with Spanish In Atlanta - Level 1 in early 2025. We are now we are 6 months in and about to begin Level 4. If we can do it, so can you!

Dee was great in helping me improve my Spanish! She broke things down and gave me options of how to say things to see what felt good for me. She's also communicatve and does all she can to help you get the most out of whatever class package you choose. She really helped me get my Spanish up and gave me the practice I needed to feel confident using Spanish at my job.

Spanish classes with instructor D. Are excellent. She breaks down the foundation and will make sure you understand the lesson before class is over that day. She is personable. She will get one on one with you if needed. The work books are very extensive and you truly need nothing else for class.

I worked with Senora Ortiz for multiple weeks to prepare for my trip to Latin America. Before working with her, I had only studied Spanish in school and in continuing adult education classes. My main goal was to get more confidence with speaking and understanding what strategies I can use to speak and listen more effectively using the vocab and grammar I already had from school. She had no issues at all with understanding my goals, coming up with a curriculum and working through many schedule adjustments. The time I spent was very valuable and I now have more confidence in speaking Spanish at a level that even allows me to communicate to native speakers!

At Spanish in Atlanta I received excellent instruction from Delilah. I could tell that she was very experienced and passionate about teaching language. As an adult student I appreciate her weekend and evening schedules. I also appreciate that she limits her class sizes to allow for plenty of one on one attention. I have almost completed the first 2 levels of Spanish in Atlanta, and I have to say I am thoroughly enjoying the classes! Delilah makes learning Spanish fun.
