She has over 30 years of teaching experience and is a native speaker of Spanish & English. She is a professional quad-lingual instructor.
How do the small group Spanish classes work?
Our small group Spanish classes are:
- 6 week long Spanish courses
- meeting 1x a week one hour
- 6 student max per class
- Spanish workbook/quizzes/study material included
- assignments & Spanish exercises are to be worked on during the week

Are the Spanish classes In person Spanish classes or online Spanish classes?
We conduct most of our Spanish courses/ lessons & tutoring live via Zoom but for students in the East Cobb Marietta Georgia area that don’t mind paying more and can meet us at the local library for private Spanish lessons, we can offer in person Spanish classes- ONLY private instruction no groups yet!
How are your Spanish lessons structured? What can I expect?
We structure our Spanish lessons so that students practice what they are learning together in class with the professional Spanish instructor. On average class is 20% instruction 80% practice ( depending on the lesson) We offer a complete and full curriculum which means all students will be able to read, write, speak & develop Spanish listening skills. Our main focus will be building Spanish conversational skills, auditory comp. & processing. This will ensure students are well trained for real life Spanish conversations!

How long will it take me to be fluent in Spanish?
Short answer is anywhere between 10 months- 2 1/2 years+. Many Spanish tutors. teachers & schools don’t like answering this question because its almost impossible to know how long it will take. There are too many factors that will influence the length of time it will take.
However, we are happy to give you a good idea! If you are an average student, come to all your classes, do average work, follow our instructions, and are consistent with your Spanish language classes, it will take on average about 1 year and 1/2. Our training will allow you to start seeing results after just taking our beginner Spanish class- level I so you can be functional in Spanish but not fluent!
Do I need to purchase any Spanish workbook or books after I sign up for Spanish classes?
No, everything is included, when you sign up for our Spanish classes ( group classes), private Spanish lessons, & Spanish tutoring. Our Spanish workshops are Spanish practice workshops so no books are needed. Spanish in Atlanta has created a powerful curriculum with strong tools all included in our Spanish language lessons!
How many hours do I have to dedicate to Spanish once I start my Spanish classes?
Aside from coming to Spanish class once a week for an hour, the Spanish homework & independent study should be a total of 2-3 hours. Our homework was carefully designed so that students have healthy repetition & create neural pathways. Total of 3-4 hours per week; including class time.
I have never taken foreign language lessons before & don’t know any Spanish; Where do I start?
Start with our beginner Spanish classes level I or private Spanish instruction. Our level I Spanish class is for beginners that don’t know any Spanish & also is a great review for those that feel their Spanish foundation is rusty. Sign up for our beginner Spanish class here.

After taking Level I Spanish, what will I learn?
After taking our Spanish class for adults level I, you will be able to confidently do basic things most people do everyday:

Can I learn to speak Spanish with Spanish learning apps & programs?
Very few people actually become fluent or learn to speak Spanish with language learning apps, Spanish learning software or books. You can; however, use these options as plug ins to your Spanish learning. An extra that can enhance your Spanish learning but not the main resource to help you become bilingual in Spanish!
Do you offer adult Spanish classes?
Yes! Adults from all backgrounds & ages make up most of our 6 week Spanish courses. Students 14+ years of age are welcome to join our small group courses!
Do you teach children?
Our Spanish small group courses are mostly for adults- we welcome students ages 14 + for the Spanish group courses & ages 12 + for private Spanish lessons or Spanish tutoring. We do not offer Spanish classes for little kids right now.
If I want to do the Spanish small group classes, can I also do private lessons?
Yes! We can co-create a unique Spanish learning program for you! Just contact us and we can go over your specific needs & wants. We will make it happen.
Ex: You can take an adult Spanish class & plug in 2-3 tutoring sessions, if you want to! (we offer a special tutoring discount)
If I sign up for the adult Spanish classes & have to miss a class, what happens?
Most of the time, you can self study the material you missed because our Spanish workbook/ebook has all the material that was covered in class. You will have exclusive access to rewatch most of the classes which will make it very easy for you to self study, if needed. Lastly, if we have another adult Spanish class with seats available, we will gladly allow you to drop in for free ( caveat= depends on availability)
What is your refund policy?
We don’t offer refunds! Please check your schedule first before signing up. In the unlikely event Spanish in Atlanta has to cancel a Spanish class, we will happily honor a refund.
What happens, if I miss a class? Can I make it up?
If you miss a small group Spanish lesson, there is no obligation from Spanish in Atlanta to offer you a make up; however, we will do our best to work with you and if we have another class going over the same material missed, you can drop in for free ( offer subject to availability!)
Lastly, our course material was designed so that most Spanish lessons can be rewatched & studied independently. Our material will make it easy for you to self study, if needed. Please check your schedule before signing up!
Do you offer diplomas or certificates of completion?
No but if you company is paying for your Spanish classes, we are happy to provide your company with a brief notice stating you have completed your Spanish level successfully for their records. This is been sufficient for the professional students we have worked for in the past!
If I sign up for a Spanish group class, can I postpone my classes & join another class later?
No 🙂 Our adult Spanish classes/courses have only 6 spots available so once you sign up for a small group course, we are holding that spot for you. Please check your schedule first before signing up for Spanish classes/ courses. Private Spanish lessons are more flexible.
