Developing Spanish auditory comprehension skills is one of the most important things to do in a new language to become bilingual. Spanish in Atlanta has created Spanish  short stories to tackle this challenge early on! Our Spanish audio files will be available in all levels of difficulty- not just beginner level.

How to Improve Spanish Listening Skills:

In order to develop your Spanish listening skills, you need to connect the visual words with their audio form. Hear the vocabulary & verbs over and over so that your brain creates an audio file. It´s like learning a new song. You hear it on the radio often enough that you can recall it. You have to create a visual file of the words and then connect that to the sounds. This is why Spanish in Atlanta’s written homework is so important! The Spanish homework we create helps students merge the visual word with the sound associated to it!

Spanish words become like mini songs in your brain. The melody and rhythm in the words are the musical side of Spanish. This is what will help you identify the Spanish words next time you hear them in a conversation. The only way to create these audio files is by listening to those words at least 50x in a strategically written Spanish short story.
